Mr T Lewis

Hi, I’m Tom, and I’m the Community Chaplain in Ashford. My role is all about people, community and making connections I spend my time getting out and about, meeting local families, supporting schools and working with churches and community groups. A lot of my role is simply about being around, listening, getting involved and helping people feel welcome.

My major focus is working with children and young people. Our SKY youth group at UCA Cade Road is one of the highlights of my week. I have also built a great relationship with our local primary school where we run Toddler group and Messy Church. I also visit schools, lead worship, run wellbeing sessions and help with special events. I enjoy working with others to create spaces where people can have fun, make friends and explore questions about life and faith.

I’m married to Sarah and we have 3 children. In my spare time I love movies and going to the cinema. I like to go out exporting the local area, trying to find the best spots for a good lunch. I also enjoy watching sports, particularly American Football.
